Mount Vinson

Mount Vinson is the highest point in Antarctica, rising to 4,892 m in the heart of the Sentinel Range. The climb is scheduled for January 2026, immediately after the planned South Pole ski expedition.

This is a guided climb, starting from Union Glacier Camp, then flying to Vinson Base Camp. From there, the ascent follows a staged route through Low Camp, High Camp, and then a summit push, depending on weather conditions.

Temperatures can drop below −30°C even in the austral summer, and the cold is constant. The route itself isn’t technically difficult, but the remoteness and exposure make it serious. There's no margin for error.

This climb is more than just another tick. Vinson will be the sixth of the Seven Summits, leaving only Aconcagua for completion — and setting the stage for the final challenge at the North Pole.
